Jes Foord:

Founder of the Jes Foord Foundation. Jes is the face of the Foundation. She gives educational and motivational talks to Schools, Community Organisations, and Corporates. Jes also corresponds with other survivors, offering support, guidance and motivation to them. Jes’ main focus is the survivors, and their well being.



Justin De Beer:

Justin joined the Foundation in April 2011. He worked in a strict legal environment for 4 years. As General Manager, Justin handles Marketing, Public Relations, The admin department, as well as liaising with Jes, Cindy and The Counselling Team.



Catherine Roberts:

The Foundations secretary. Catherine is “the lady on the other end of the phone.” Catherine is responsible for admin of the Foundation, and making sure that the right people have the right information. Catherine comes to The Foundation with 15 years retail management experience, and is also qualified in Corporate Public Relations, with 10 years Public relations experience.



Cindy Aberdein:

Our in-house Counsellor. Cindy has been a volunteer at the Foundation for more than a year. She now joins us as our full time Counsellor. Her main role is to offer post rape counselling to our survivors. She is also responsible for managing all of our intern registered counsellors, and will oversee all their cases.



Alta Mc Master:

Alta has been involved with The Jes Foord Foundation for over a year. Based in Johannesburg, Alta has been running our JHB branch of the Handbag project since 2010 on a volunteer basis. She now joins The Foundation on a part time basis, to set up and co ordinate our JHB branch. Alta is responsible for all JFF business in Gauteng
